The planning

The prep work.

View The Canada Crossing on JoeFr's travel map.

On the 18th of august my cycle trip will start. A plane from Brussels (Belgium) to Montreal (Canada) will get me to North America.

In Montreal i will stay at friends for a week, do some climbing, enjoy Quebeq and prepare my bike.

The BIG plan is to ride my Bulls SLC bike from Montreal to Vancouver, about 5200km. My rough gues is that it will take about 7 or 8 weeks of riding. But it may take longer because there are some friends and family to visit.

Instead of panniers i will use a BOB bike trailer, a single wheel trailer for all my stuff. I still have to buy this in Montreal somewhere.

I will post more and more stories and photo's on this site while i'm on my way.
